How This Journey Began

Befitting the name, this site is a lifelong dream beginning to encompass the waking world of the author, mystical and magical in it's pulsing and ever-expanding energy!
Towards the end of Nov., a fellow poet and dear friend of mine, Bill Renfro (prairiemimosa.modblog.com, respectively), introduced my to his newfound mode of expression, which he called a "Blog" ( I didn't have a clue of what that 'strange' word meant, believe it or not!). On Dec. 3rd, I was ON and running, leaving a decade of artistic apathy and procrastination which I quaintly named 'Writer's Block', fading in the background and reduced to a dark memory. I actually got what I wanted for Christmas ( for once! ), as I completed and uploaded my first poetry book for full publication very early the morning of Dec. 25th!( My deepest thanks to those wonderful people at 'LULU.com', respectively.)
Now I use several artistic mediums, which keeps me busier than I've ever been in my life, to maintain my modblog, two other blog sites, plus an ever expanding website that went live on the Web mere hours or minutes past April Fool's Day! That irony, on top of the incredible enigma of the increasing synchronicity surrounding this rapid evolution, has had me contemplating deeper the nature and meaning of the Fool's card in the Tarot! This is truly a dream that I would rather not wake from, a miracle for a man who really needed to believe in the balance such a miracle would bestow. I feel better about myself now than I ever have in my life, for I am finally spreading my wings and taking flight towards the skies that were destined for me.
Thanks to the wonderful generation of blog pioneers, and the kind faces of friends everywhere who take the time to stop and experience my words, I am able to smile and hold on to the romantic notion of a TRUE sense of order and justice in the Universe.
